KOCHI: Demanding that the Kerala State Electricity Board implement the pension revisions due from 2008 and give the deserved benefits to the pensioners, the members of Kerala State Electricity Board Pensioners’ Association staged a dharna in front of the Ernakulam Electrical Division Office as part of state wide protests, on Wednesday.Organisers said that they had moved ahead with the protests as the petitions filed with the Chief Minister, Power Minister and KSEB Chairman did not yield any result.Charles Dias MP inaugurated the protest. CITU state committee member S Krishnamoorthy, AITUC district committee member John Lucose, INTUC district secretary T K Rameshan, KSEB Workers Association member K Sasi, Kerala Electricity Workers Federation secretary K C Mony, K G Sebastian, Hisham, John C Britto, Durgadas, K N Mohanan and S Babukutty spoke at the event.
