The US fan ordered the clothes from a weaving artist from Sircilla town, Telangana.

The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan received a special gift created by a man named Veldi Hariprasad, a weaving artist from Sircilla town, Telangana. After a fan from Atlanta, USA saw his handloom art, he placed an order for handloom clothes worth Rs 5 to 6 lakh, as Hariprasad informed Local18. Hariprasad, along with his wife Rekha, took about 25 days to complete the order and send the dresses to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. It took five days to tie the ropes according to the design to incorporate the Janasena logo into the fabric. Using 100 lea linen, Hariprasad’s wife wrapped the loom, and he used silk thread in red and black to weave the Janasena logo by hand, taking 15 days to make a shirt and 5 days to make a pair of pants.

Hariprasad used a linen loom and three metres of cloth for the shirt and two metres for the pants. Since 2019, he has showcased his art on Handloom Day each year, receiving admiration from local handloom artists, workers, and the people of Sircilla. This year marks the first time linen clothes are being produced on a handloom in Sircilla, and the community is thrilled to create these handloom clothes for Pawan Kalyan.

Previously, Hariprasad wove the G20 logo and received praise from Prime Minister Modi. Hariprasad, a humble weaver from Sircilla, was delighted to be invited to witness the swearing-in ceremony for the third time.

In the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi mentioned Sircilla handloom artist Hariprasad, acknowledging his contribution to spreading Sircilla’s fame and the skill of handloom art through many innovative programs and inventions. Hariprasad’s inventive art forms speak volumes about his talent and dedication.
