The Plachimada Coca-Cola Solidarity Samiti (PCCSS) will convene district-wise conventions throughout the state on September 28, in protest against the failure on the part of the President in giving nod to the Compensation Claims Special Tribunal Bill, 2011.
Ecologist S Faizi will hold the Ernakulam district convention at the C Achutha Menon Hall at 2 pm on Friday. According to district convener Yesudas Varappuzha, despite the Bill being passed by the state cabinet in 2011, the President has not yet given his approval for the Bill.
M K Prasad, former Speaker T S John, C M Joy and Vilayodi Venugopal will be present.
