Palani: Rs 2.3 cr collected from Murugan Temple hundi

The hundi collection of the Lord Murugan Temple in the city touched about Rs 2.3 crore in the last 13 days, temple officials said here today.

Apart from the cash, jewellery items like gold and silver rings, chains, thalis were also put in the hundi by devotees, they said.
