Pak welcomes Kashmiris to cross LoC
Pakistan has said that it will make all efforts to allow Kashmiris to meet people across LoC and help them in relief assistance.

Islamabad: Pakistan on Tuesday said that it would make all efforts to facilitate Kashmiri people living on either side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet and help each other in relief assistance in the quake-hit areas.

"Kashmiris should be allowed to cross over the LoC without hindrance and cumbersome procedure," Pakistan Foreign Office spokeperson Tasneem Aslam said in Islamabad on Tuesday.

She said that Pakistan has not received any list of intending travelers from India but assured it would be processed as soon as it was received so that people from the Kashmir come over in Islamabad as soon as possible.

However, she added that despite widespread devastation, Pakistani authorities worked day and night to ensure five points of crossing, besides ensuring their safety and security.

"The Indian authorities said they would open two more points on November 9 and 10 and would convey opening of the remaining two points when they were ready," she said.
