New York: India's Leander Paes is in line for a double at the US Open as he entered the finals of both the men's doubles and mixed doubles here at the Flushing Meadows.
Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dloughy moved into their first Grand Slam final, beating Argentina's Maqxim Gonzaez and Juan Monaco in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
Earlier, Paes and his mixed doubles partner Cara Black of Zimbabwe beat Swede Jonas Bjorkman and his Russian partner Nadia Petrova 6-4, 6-4.
In the final, the Indo-Zimbabwean duo will take on Liezel Huber of the US and Andy Murray of Britain.
The British-American pair beat Jill Craybas and Eric Butorac of the US 6-3, 6-4.
In the quarter-finals, Paes and Dlouhy beat Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Jarko Nieminen Finland, 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-3, while Gonzalez and Monaco beat Brazilian-Serbian duo of Bruno Soares and Dusan Vemic 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-3.
