Noida: A three-month old infant suffered minor injuries after the roof of a flat in Supertech Capetown in Noida collapsed on Saturday morning.

The owner of flat had brought the property in November 2015 and paid around Rs 50 Lakhs for the unit.

Police sources said, the infant was immediately rushed to a nearby health care centre and the condition is stated to be out of danger.

Sensing trouble, a team of Supertech officials reached Capetown in Sector 74 in Noida and met the parents. They offered another flat/guest house till the repairing of their flat is completed.

Jitendra Jha, injured child's father, said, "The Supertech officials threatened me not to approach the media. The builder said that they will repair the damage but I want compensation. I will take legal action against them for the incident."

The incident happened in the midst of the row over builders who are delaying possessions at several projects mainly in the NCR regions. There are allegations that in some of the projects the builders are violating key safety norms too.
