According to police, Gaurav Ifridhi from Chera district, Uttarakhand went missing on Sunday.
Chennai: An Indian Air Force (IAF) trainee has been reported missing for the past five days from a training centre in the Muthapudupet police limits in Chenna, police said.
According to police, Gaurav Ifridhi (21) from Chera district, Uttarakhand, who was training at the IAF station at Avadi since July 2011, went missing on Sunday and Aishwarya, training incharge officer, lodged a complaint with the police on Monday.
Police sources said that they got information that the man had gone to Varanasi and they were trying to trace his mobile phone signals. Police said that Ifridhi was to have completed his training in April this year.
