BANGALORE: The fate of close to 7,000 teachers and principals hangs in the balance as the state government is all set to recruit their replacements through CET. Members of the Morarji Desai and Kittur Rani Chenamma Residential Schools Teachers and Professors Welfare Association have resolved to hold a rally to urge the government for rehabilitation or compensation.  “We have been employed for nearly 8 years. This academic year, the government has decided to recruit new teachers and principals through CET. Where are we supposed to go?” questioned Ramashetty R, president of the Association.  The Association is now contemplating moving court over the matter. The Association will carry out a mammoth  rally on March 8 from Lal Bagh to Freedom Park to put pressure on the government.
