Monsoon covers most of Jharkhand

Monsoon has covered 3/4th of Jharkhand on Thursday and the entire state will be covered by Friday.

"Jamshedpur had pre-monsoon rainfall on Wednesday night while the monsoon entered Jharkhand on Thursday through Pakur and Sahibganj districts," Weather Scientist of Birsa Agriculture University A Wadood said in Ranchi.

"India Meteorological Department's prediction up to June 22 is good for widespread rains in the state," he added.
