New Delhi: To take on the much-discussed Moto E, Micromax has unleashed its Rs 6,999 phone - the Unite 2 A106 that boasts of higher specifications than the entry-level Motorola smartphone.
The Unite 2 is a 1.3GHz quad-core phone (MT6582M) that runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2. The display is 4.7-inches WVGA (11.93 cms, 480x800 pixels).
Unlike the Moto E, the Micromax Unite 2 has a 2 megapixel front camera along with a 5 megapixel rear camera. The phone draws power from a 2000 mAh battery.
Unite 2 has 1GB of RAM and 0.89GB of its internal memory is reserved for apps and 1.67GB for user data. The storage can be expanded to 32GB.
The phone is available in five colour options: white, green, grey and red.
One of the highlights of the Unite 2 is that the phone comes with 21 pre-loaded languages.
