A woman was allegedly killed by her husband for dowry in Firozabad district, police said in Firozabad on Tuesday. The body of the victim, identified as Anju, 25, was recovered from her house in Nagla Vishnu locality in Linepar area after neighbours informed the police on Monday, they said.

An FIR has been lodged in this regard by victim's father in which he alleged that Anju's husband, Kaushal and his family harassed her for dowry.
