Yes, Bollywood's hottest sirens has landed a plum role in Mani Ratnam's soon-to-be-announced film Guru.
A little birdie tells us that Mallika Sherawat - who is already making waves with the promos of her yet-to-be released Shaadi se Pehle co-starring Akshaye Khanna and Ayesha Takia - has reportedly bagged a "crucial" cameo in Ratnam venture.
Her role is being described as an integral part of the film's narrative. Guru would have Bollywood's latest item Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai as the lead pair.
Rumor mills are working overtime about the movie and the latest is that Vivek Oberoi - who was earlier part of the starcast - has walked out.
Is it because of his ex-flame Ash's latest fling with heartthrob Abhishek? Well, no one can say.
Another interesting role in the film has been reserved for Mithun Chakraborthy. Mithun was to work with Ratnam years back in a Tamil film called Anandam.
However but it didn't work out because Mani wanted Mithun to chop off his hair and Mithun was committed to work with other directors at that time.
