Malegaon bridges Hindu-Muslim gap
There's belief that Malegaon blasts were intended to incite communal tension but it's working on the contrary.

Malegaon: There's belief that Friday's terror attack in Malegaon was intended to incite communal tension.

But on the contrary, the attack is bringing Hindus and Muslims together.

Among the blood donors awaiting their turn at the Vaidya hospital in Malegaon, many are Hindus who have come to show their support for the victims of Friday's bomb blasts. Most of the blast victims belong to the Muslim community.

“People from Hindu community have donated blood. Sunil Gaekwad, Suresh and others arranged for blood," says a resident of Malegaon.

"I donated blood. It has given me lot of satisfaction. Malegaon is going through a crisis," says a blood donor, Sriram.

Malegaon has a history of tensions between Hindu and Muslim communities. But the incident seems to have had the opposite effect.
