Over 1.8 crore electorate would decide the fate of 151 candidates, including stalwarts like former cabinet ministers Maneka Gandhi, Santosh Gangwar, Saleem Sherwani, Dharmendra Yadav and Begum Noor Bano, when voting for 11 Lok Sabha seats will be held on April 17.
In the second phase, polling would be held in Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Amroha, Badaun, Aonla, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and Kheri.
Senior BJP leader Maneka Gandhi, who last time won from Aonla, is back to her traditional seat Pilibhit this time.
Dharmendra Yadav, the nephew of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, is in the fray to retain the Badaun Lok Sabha seat, former MP Sherwani is contesting from Aonla as Congress candidate.
