Kannada actress Bhavana gets a 'Hat Trick' award
An acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer Bhavana got her first state award for the film 'Kshama'.

Kannada actress 'Bhavana' gets a 'Hat Trick' for her achievement.

The actress is known for her performance and bold role she had done recently in 'Chingari'. A Bharatanatyam dancer Bhavana got her first state award for 'Kshama' under Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa's direction and now again she bagged the state award for 2011 in Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa's film 'Bhageerathi'. Previous award for Bhavana was a supporting actress award in state level for 'Nee Mudida Mallige'.

Also, Bhavana's sole presence in 'Shanthi' under Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa was the top film of her career as it got the UN recognition.

In 'Bhageerathi' for which she got the state award for 2011 it was a sacrificing role. As the youngest daughter in law of the village chieftain family she is forced by the superstitious belief to sacrifice her life jumping to the lake. On knowing this 'Kerege Haara' of his wife even her husband played by Kishor also sacrifices his life. But the end part was a young boy throwing stone to the same lake decrying all such practices in our society.
