New Delhi: Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez will perform in Mumbai on May 21 as part of the first anniversary celebrations of Kingfisher Airlines.
This will be the first time that Lopez would perform in India, an airline release said on Wednesday. Kingfisher Chairman and CEO Vijay Mallya said that within a year since it launched its operations, the airline has bagged a market share of 8.7 per cent and carried over a million passengers.
Kingfisher is currently the only domestic carrier, providing in-flight entertainment. Commenting on the recent launch of Kingfisher First class service, Mallya said "It is only fitting that an icon like Jennifer Lopez be part of the anniversary celebrations of Kingfisher Airlines. I am delighted that thousands of her fans will be able to see their legend perform in person.”
The low-fare airline has also announced a series of special offers for passengers flying the airline during May.
