It's confirmed! 'Mungaru Male' sequel will feature actor 'Golden' Ganesh; will be directed by Shashank

Kannada actor Ganesh's film 'Mungaru Male' is counted as one of the the biggest hits in the industry. The film is rumoured to get a sequel soon -- but the movie will take off without director Yogaraj Bhat and actress Pooja Gandhi.

The sequel for the 2006 hit film will be directed by Shashank of 'Moggina Jade' fame, and will be produced by filmmaker G Gangadhar. The leading lady for the film has not yet been signed.

According to media reports, the 'Mungaru Male' sequel will not exactly be a continuation, but will be pitched on a different note.
