Hyderabad: K Sudhakar, an engineer by profession, has designed a 'Football Car' on the eve of the FIFA World Cup in Germany.
The car was unveiled on Friday.
Sudhakar said he had taken 10 months to create the football-shaped car.
He said the car would be on display in the Prasad's Imax for three days. Later, it would be kept for public viewing in Sudha Cars Museum in Bahadurpura.
Sudhakar said the car was made from 32 panels of sheet metal and painted black and white. All the panels were made and joined as in the case of a football.
''It is a single seater-car, powered with a 110 cc engine and can travel at a speed of 60 kmph'', he added.
It has a diameter of six feet and has six wheels. The wheels are aligned in such a way that the car can spin at one place.
It is a normal car with suspension, headlights, tail-lights and indicators. It has been priced at Rs 1 lakh.
He added that he was already working on 'Tennis Ball Car' and plans to complete it before the coming Wimbledon champonships and planned to unveil it with tennis player Sania Mirza.
He has also decided to design a Basketball Car, Stiletto Car (Ladies Shoe), Ladies Hand Bag Car and Lipstick Bike. Sudhakar had already made vehicles like brinjal car, lotus chariot car, shoe car, helmet car, shivling car, condom bike, cricket ball car, early 1900 model buses and double deckers.
