Government ignored YSR promise

MOGALTUR (WG): YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has demanded that the state government roll back the power tariff  hike as common people are not in a position to bear the additional financial burden.Leading a dharna organised by the YSRC at a substation here on Tuesday against the increase in power tariff, the Kadapa MP alleged that the Congress government did not have other work except increasing taxes unmindful of the financial burden on common people. He flayed Kiran government for increasing power tariff ignoring the promise made by late YSR that it would not be hiked till 2014.
