Chennai: It's party time for toppers in Chennai too. 17 year-old Atulya is all smiles at the DAV Boys school in Chennai.
He has scored 487 out of 500, and his report card reads like this: 96 in math, and 99 in physics, chemistry and computer science.
He says, " I will now have to wait for the results of the entrance tests and whichever way i want to do my Engineering"
But Atulya has some company at the top.
Anirudh has scored 487 too, and in this school where over 73 percent of the students have scored over 90 percent, two other students were just one mark short of the schools highest score.
Anirudh says, “I am really happy and i have thank my teachers and friends they were very supportive."
But Anirudh and Atulya have fallen one mark short of highest score in the city.
It's the girls who seem to have topped. Two girl students, Suman, from the Sankara school and Nivedita from the P.S.Senior Secondary school have scored 488 out of 500.
