The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has announced that over 175 properties will be auctioned during Navratri, offering residents of Delhi-NCR the chance to acquire them at cheaper rates.
The GDA will also auction land in various locations, including Vaishali Sector 6, Indirapuram, Koyal Enclave Scheme, Indraprastha Scheme, Ambedkar Road Housing Plots, UP Border Plots, and Indirapuram Nyay Khand and Gyan Khand.
In Indirapuram alone, the GDA plans to sell a total of 40 residential plots. The available land will range from 30 square metres to 330 square metres for residential schemes and 13.75 square metres for shops.
The GDA is also planning to develop group housing on a 30,000 square metre area in Indirapuram. This land has been auctioned 26 times previously, but it did not sell due to its high price. Now, the GDA has decided to lower the price for sale.
Recently, a three-member committee, chaired by the Additional Secretary, was formed to prepare the layout of these plots as part of the Indirapuram expansion plan. Following this, the board has approved the sale, and the authority will sell more than 40 plots through auction.
According to GDA officials, several areas of Ghaziabad land will be auctioned during Navratri. This will include the auction of 40 plots under the Indirapuram expansion plan. Additionally, bids will be placed for properties that remain unsold in Indirapuram.
The officials further said that these plots are expected to be auctioned on the 5th or 6th of October. Recently, bids were placed for flats that remained unsold in the residential schemes of Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, resulting in the purchase of 17 residential plots.
In the coming days, the GDA will initiate auctions for other schemes as well, selling land through bidding. The auction will include 7 housing plots in the Koyal Enclave scheme, 57 plots in the Indraprastha scheme, 10 housing plots on Ambedkar Road, and 23 plots near the Uttar Pradesh border.
In total, 40 residential plots from Indirapuram Nyay Khand and Gyan Khand, along with 175 plots from the Govindpuram scheme, are set to be auctioned. The price for this land ranges from Rs 4,000 to Rs 1,36,000 per square metre.
According to Ghaziabad Development Authority officials, there will be no land auction this week. However, two to three days after Navratri begins, over 175 properties in Ghaziabad, including flats, land, and shops, will be available for sale through the auction process.
