New Delhi: Online enrollment for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is going to end on September 30 where as those opting for hard copy applications will need to send their applications by October 8, 2012.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that is a comprehensive test of undergraduates in engineering and technology. It is conducted by the GATE National Coordination Board which comprises seven IITs and the Bangalore-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
The GATE score is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes (ME, MTech, direct PhD) with financial assistance provided by the Centre and other agencies.
The GATE 2013 online examinations will be held on January 20, 2013 and the Offline examinations will be held on February 10, 2013. Results will be announced on March 15, 2013.
