CHENNAI: The Nithyananda Dyanapeetam on Tuesday filed another complaint with the city police commissioner against two Tamil television channels and a daily, alleging indecent representation of women through a telecast of a demonstration conducted  at its ashram in Karnatakawww recently. Sri Nithya Sarvananda said that as part of the Guru Poornima celebrations at the ashram on July 15, a live scientific recording of ‘Activation of certain parts of human brain through the ancient spiritual technique of Kundalini awakening and levitation’, through initiation by Swami Nithyananda, was organised. He said the print media and TV channels such as Dinakaran, Sun TV, Sun News and Kalaignar TV had misrepresented the demonstration as a “con, comedy and repulsive show” to the readers and viewers with especially “blatant sexual implications attached to the levitation movements of innocent devotees.”The complaint that the captured footage was telecast/published with “maliciously cut and mixed selections” to convey the wrong meaning.
