Former techie cheats bank of Rs 7.5 lakh

HYDERABAD: Task Force police on Monday arrested a man who duped a bank to the tune of Rs 7.5 lakh and obtained credit cards by applying online and submitting copies of documents of others.Police seized a computer and two mobile phones from the accused, Vanga Srikanth, (25) of Vivek Nagar in Chikkadpally here.A native of Karimnagar, Srikanth, after completing an engineering course, joined Amazon Software Company as a process executive. He quit the job and tried to settle down as a film writer. All his efforts having come to a nought, he landed in severe financial problems.
