Choteylal Chaurasia (65) and his wife Ramkali (60) were beaten up by thieves who later tied their mouths with clothes when the couple resisted the heist on Monday night, police said.
Both died of injuries in the night, police said, adding a case has been lodged and efforts are on to trace the culprits.
