New Delhi: A day after the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) announced the results for Class XII, a student from the prestigious Delhi Public School committed suicide.
Priyanka, a student of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj killed herself after she failed the exam.
This is the second incident of examination stress-related suicide in the Capital in the past one week.
Earlier, a Class X student of Capital’s prestigious Sanskriti school committed suicide at her southwest Delhi residence.
Shefali, 15, was found hanging from the ceiling of her home in Satyaniketan. She was the daughter of an Indian Economic Service official and had appeared for her Class X CBSE examination this year.
Shefali was apparently a brilliant student and had scored 97 per cent in the pre-Board exam.
