A doctor couple was killed, while their son and daughter-in-law got seriously injured when the car they were traveling in, collided head-on with a truck in Gaya district on Saturday.
Gaya Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nishant Kumar Tiwary said the incident happened near Sahdev Khap village under Magadh University police station area in the district. The deceased were coming to Gaya from Dobhi while the truck was traveling in the opposite direction.
"Doctor Mitihilesh Sinha and his wife Doctor Usha Sinha died on the spot. Their son Mantu Sinha and daughter-in-law have been seriously injured in the incident and have been referred by the government doctors to Patna for better treatment," the SSP said.
The SSP said the doctor couple were residents of Dakshin Darwaza locality of Gaya town and practiced homeopathic medicine.
