Civil Service Prelims on June 12

PUDUCHERRY: The territorial administration on Thursday announced that elaborate arrangements would be put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the All India Civil Services (Preliminary) examination, scheduled for June 12.As many as 1,326 aspirants would appear for the examination in centres identified across the Union Territory, including the Vivekananda Higher Secondary School, Sellaperumalpet, Lawspet and the Government Women’s Polytechnic, Airport Road, Lawspet.Special secretary to the government Theva Nidhi Das is the coordinating supervisor while S D Sundaresan, joint managing director of the  Pondicherry Textile Corporation, is the assistant coordinating supervisor for the examination. Meanwhile, Haje Kojeen, secretary to government, will be the observer for the exam.
