'Children Bank of India' Notes Again, Man Held At Hyderabad Bank
A man named Yousuf Shaikh was caught by bank officials in Hyderabad trying to deposit fake new currency notes worth Rs 9.90 lakh with ‘Children Bank of India’ written on them.

New Delhi: A man named Yousuf Shaikh was caught by bank officials in Hyderabad trying to deposit fake new currency notes worth Rs 9.90 lakh with ‘Children Bank of India’ written on them.

According to bank officials, Yousuf Shaikh came to Allahabad bank, Malkajgiri branch, at around 10:40pm to deposit cash. The cashier in the bank noticed 'Children Bank of India' written on the notes and immediately alerted the bank manager. The bank then informed the police.

The notes included 400 notes of new Rs 2,000 and 380 notes of new Rs 500. ​

Yousuf, who runs a stationery shop in nearby area, had opened the account in June, 2016.

The Malkajgiri Police are investigating the case.
