BANGALORE: Following an appeal by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa challenging a single judge order dismissing his pleas for quashing the summons issued to him by a lower court in land scam cases, the High Court on Friday directed the complainant Sirajin Basha to file a reply within 10 days. Senior counsel Uday U Lalit arguing for Yeddyrappa stated that there is no merit in the single bench order which was dismissed. Basha replied that he needs 15 days to file a reply. To this, Lalit said that if the court permits him 15-days time to file reply, the same should be extended to other instances. Basha has also been directed to give copy of reply two days in advance to petitioner.EC Notice on Voters’ List The HC on Friday issued notices to the Election Commission and state chief electoral office over a petition seeking probe into irregularities in enrolment of teachers.
