PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry legislative assembly will be convened in the first week of November for a brief session, said speaker V Sabapathy on Tuesday.In an informal chat with newspersons, Sabapathy said the newly elected member A Tamilselvan would take oath of office and the election of the deputy speaker would be held during the session. Tamilselvan is the new member elected from Indira Nagar constituency in the by-poll. The session is expected to run for a day.
