ADILABAD: In a freak mishap, 25-year-old Rajesh Puli from Adilabad district died in a car crash in Texas of USA on Monday night. The family members of Rajesh were informed about his death on Tuesday night.According to information reaching here, Rajesh of Railway Colony in Khagaznagar went to US three years ago for higher studies after completing his engineering in Hyderabad. At present, Rajesh is pursuing his master’s degree in technology management at Texas A&M-Commerce University.At 7.45 p.m. on Monday (local time), he was returning home from the university along Highway 287 near Groveton city in Texas when he lost control of his SUV which left the roadway and overturned before crashing into a tree. Due to the impact of the accident, Rajesh died on the spot despite taking all precautions, including wearing a seat belt.The authorities believe that wet road conditions might have led to the accident. The university management informed that flag will fly at half-staff tomorrow in honour of Rajesh, while the Indian Student Association at the university is planning a memorial service.
