Andy Murray beats Djokovic, wins Masters Series

New Delhi: Andy Murray beat Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic 7-6, 7-6 to win his first Masters Series title on Sunday.

Murray could have won earlier, but Djokovic survived four championship points when he served.

The Scot finally won the match in the tiebreak on his sixth championship point. This is his second victory over Djokovic in successive weeks.

The win has also helped Murray take a giant leap on the rankings table and places him on the sixth spot in the latest ATP rankings.
