TIRUNELVELI: S Muthuselvi, who won in the Sankarankoil bypoll, said that it was the victory of Chief Minister and AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa. Speaking to reporters, at the counting centre at Puliyangudi on Wednesday, Muthuselvi said “it is the victory of Amma.” Terming it as a big and thumping victory, she said that it would be dedicated as a birthday gift to her party leader. An engineering graduate, Muthuselvi further said that Jayalalithaa completely crushed the campaign of all the opposition parties. Thanking the voters of Sankarankoiil constituency, the AIADMK’s winning candidate promised to strive for the development of the region. Muthuselvi, who has been elected from Sankarankoil assembly constituency, is the lone woman MLA from Tirunelveli district.
