KOZHIKODE: Actor Jagathy Sreekumar, who is undergoing treatment at Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences MIMS here after a serious accident last month, is reportedly improving. According to hospital authorities, if his condition remains consistent for one more day, he would be shifted to Christian Medical College, Vellore on Tuesday. The ventilator support given to the actor was removed.“The condition of the actor is stable and he may be shifted to CMC Vellore this week itself,” said MIMS hospital M D, Dr Abdulla Cherayakkat.It had been planned to shift him to CMC last Monday but as he suffered fits due to the neuronal injuries, the plan was skipped at the last minute. The decision to shift the actor to CMC Vellore was taken following the visit of doctors from there, who assessed Jagathy’s health condition on March 29. Jagathy, 61, was seriously injured in a car accident near Thenhipalam in Malappuram.
