Air India’s Central Training Establishment (CTE) at Hyderabad commenced its Second batch of Airbus A-320 Type Rating Training Course for external candidates on Monday. Capt.R.S. Dhillon, general manager (Ops-Trg) and Incharge Training, Air India CTE inaugurated the course alongside S Sivasamy DY.GM (Operations Training), Asirwatham, Dy. G.M.(OTT), KSN Prasad, sr. manager (Flight Operations) and other executives of the airline.
The thirteen candidates being trained includes a women pilot and the duration of the course is between 22-36 weeks depending on the performance of the trainee. The course comprises of ground classes, simulator training and aircraft familiarisation training.
