HYDERABAD: Nearly 1.20 lakh candidates passed in the general and 8,804 in the vocational category in the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary second year exams, the results of which were released here on Saturday. The pass percentage is 40 in the case of general students and 39 in vocational category out of 3 lakh and 22,120 students who appeared for the exam in the respective categories.A Vani Prasad, secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, told newsmen that the results have been released four days ahead of the scheduled date. “The results have been released in time for EAMCET final rankings. Candidates can submit their applications for recounting and revaluation of the papers on or before July 2,” the secretary said. The fee for recounting is Rs 100 per paper. For obtaining a photocopy of answer scripts for re-verification, a fee of Rs 600 has to be paid.Principals have to collect memoranda of marks and tabulation records from the regional inspection officers on June 29. “Discrepancies, if any, in the memoranda of marks should be referred to the Board through principals concerned before July 25,” she said.
