HYDERABAD: Police arrested a three-member gang involved in circulating fake Indian currency notes at MG Bus Station at Gowliguda here on Tuesday and seized Rs 1.8 lakh worth of bogus notes from them.The accused are Shyam John, a mechanic who lives in Bangalore, B Yellaiah of Hyderabad and P Gajendra, a real estate dealer and resident of Bangalore.Sultan Bazar ACP M Narayana said John and Yellaiah had been jailed previously in a fake currency cases but was bailed out.The duo continued circulation of fake currency that they received from Ramesh, who is at large.Gajendra joined the gang and took 108 fake 1000-rupee denomination notes from him after paying him `40,000.
