In a shocking incident, a woman in Hyderabad allegedly killed her 19-year-old daughter after she found her with her boyfriend at their home.
The accused, identified as Jangamma had come back home from her work for lunch on Wednesday, when she found her daughter Bhargavi with her boyfriend alone at home.
According to an NDTV report, Jangamma allegedly strangulated her daughter to death at their home in Ibrahimpatnam.
Police said that on finding the duo there, she sent her daughter’s boyfriend out of the house and allegedly assaulted her before strangling her with a saree.
Speaking to NDTV, Ibrahimpatnam police officer said that the complaint was filed by the victim’s minor brother who had claimed to have witnessed the murder. The brother saw his mother assault his sister from a window, police added.
The police further said that the accused, Jangamma wanted to get Bhargavi married and the family was even looking for matches for her.
