A case has been registered in Moniabad Police Station against Naga Susheela who is the sister of popular Telugu actor Nagarjuna on Monday. The complaint named Chintalapudi Srinivas has filed the FIR against Naga Susheela along with 12 others. He alleged that he was physically assaulted by Sushsheela along with 12 other persons. He has submitted a formal complaint and the police are investigating the case, as per reports. Notably, Srinivas made a land donation to a trust recently.
He claimed that a group of individuals including Susheela and her son actor Akkineni Sushanth were sent to create a ruckus in that area on September 12. He is also pressing the police to categorise this incident as an SC/ST case (Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe).
It is reported that there has been a longstanding dispute between Naga Susheela and Srinivas over land and their feud has persisted for some time now.
Susheela has also filed a complaint against Srinivas earlier at Panjagutta Police Station. In the complaint, the actor’s sister alleged that Srinivas sold the piece of land which belonged to her without her knowledge and consent.
The dispute has grown so much that both parties are now pursuing for legal battle over the land including the filing of SC/ST cases against each other. In response, Srinivas has reportedly countered the allegations and asserted that Naga Susheela had initiated legal proceedings against him in an attempt to liquidate the company’s assets, even though he was partially confined.
It is worth noting that Naga Susheela and Srinivas were formerly business partners in real estate ventures and film production. They have jointly financed four films of the former’s son Akkineni Sushanth which are Current, Adda, Kalidasu and Aatadukundam Ra. The films were box office fails leading Srinavas to face a huge loss and allegedly went into debt as it failed to recover the making amount after it was released. More details about the case are still awaited.
