During the Sankranti festival, Prabhas revealed details about his upcoming romantic-horror film, The Raja Saab. Sharing the first look poster on Instagram, Prabhas is seen in a black shirt and vibrant dhoti, walking with a smile on an empty street against a backdrop of fireworks.
Fans initially expressed concerns about the movie due to negativity surrounding director Maruthi, but the director embraced it as a challenge, sparking increased interest. Now, a new source of tension has emerged regarding Thaman, the music director, and his work on the film.
While Thaman has previously impressed with his music and background score, his recent works like Bro, Skanda, and Guntur Kaaram haven’t resonated well with the Telugu audience. Adding to the concern, Prabhas fans are anxious about his current form. It’s worth noting that Thaman has previously composed the background music for Prabhas’ films such as Saaho and Radhe Shyam.
Directed by Maruthi Dasari and produced by People Media Factory, with Thaman S as the composer, the movie is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
Following the poster release, observers noticed an extra ‘S’ in Prabhas’ name, sparking speculation about a possible numerology-related name change. However, it seems there might be more to the story.
“Just got confirmation from the team. There is no change in name. It’s a printing mistake on the poster. Instead of Prabhas’s #RajaSaab, by mistake, the name got printed as Prabhass on the poster”, confirmed by a source.
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad expressed excitement about having Prabhas in the upcoming romantic horror film, The Raja Saab. Praising Prabhas as a pan-India star with a brilliant range, he highlighted the anticipation for the actor’s massy and vintage look in the film. Vishwa Prasad also commended director Maruthi’s filmmaking brilliance, expressing eagerness to embark on this cinematic journey.
