Can you see who views your tweets?
No, you can't directly see who looks at your tweets. You can only know who saw your post or profile if they interacted directly with the content by liking, retweeting (reposting), or replying to the post. This applies to anything on your profile, including your picture, banner, bio, posts, and more. If you're worried about accidentally interacting with a post, you can create a secondary account. You can also make your current account private. When you like a tweet with a private account, the user won't get a notification. They can see that someone liked the post in the number count, but they won't be able to see who; you won't show up in the list of interactions.
What can Twitter/X users see?
Users can see how many people viewed their post. X does not list users who have seen the post. It will only list users who have liked the post, reposted it, or replied to it, in addition to metrics: Standard users can see the following metrics: Number of Impressions (views) Number of engagements (number of times others interacted with the post) Number of detail expands (number of users who clicked the tweet to view more details) Number of new followers Number of profile visits Number of link clicks

Frequently Asked Questions

Can someone tell if I search for them on Twitter/X? X does not send notifications if you simply search for someone on Twitter. However, if you send a follow request, the user will be notified.
How do I view someone's Twitter anonymously? Since X does not let you view a person's profile in-depth without logging in, you'll need to create a secondary account. Alternatively, you can set your account as private, but you'll need to make sure to change any of your identifying information and remove your current followers.
