How to Know if Someone Is Online on Viber on iPhone or iPad

Using the Chats Menu

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble. You can find it on your home screen, or in a folder. If Viber opens up to a conversation, tap the Android 7 Arrow Back icon on the top-left to go back to your Chats list.

Tap the Chats tab. This button looks like a speech bubble icon in the lower-left corner of your screen. It will open a list of all your personal and group chats.

Tap a chat on your chats list. This will open the conversation in full-screen.

Check your contact's last-seen date at the top. Find your contact's name on a purple bar at the top of your chat conversation, and check if it says "Online" below their name. If your contact is currently offline, this line will indicate their last-seen date, which is the last time they were on Viber.

Using the Contacts Menu

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble. You can find it on your home screen, or in a folder. If Viber opens up to a conversation, tap the Android 7 Arrow Back icon on the top-left to go back to your Chats list.

Tap the Contacts tab. This button looks like a figurehead icon at the bottom of your screen. It will open a list of all your contacts.

Tap the Viber tab at the top. This tab will exclude all your phone contacts who don't have a Viber account, and only show contacts who are on Viber.

Tap a contact on the list. This will open their profile page.

Check your contact's last-seen date at the top. Find your contact's name at the top of their profile page, and check if it says "Online" below their name. If your contact is currently offline, this line will indicate their last-seen date, which is the last time they were on Viber.
