Have you decided you want to change your name on your X, formerly known as Twitter account? Fortunately, the process for updating your name is very easy and can quickly be accomplished on either the mobile app or through a desktop computer.

Changing Your Name on the X App
Launch the X app.
Click on your profile picture in the upper left corner.
Click the Edit profile button.
Enter your new name.
Click the Save button in the upper-right corner.
Changing Your Name on the Desktop Version
Browse to Twitter.com.
Enter your log in credentials to sign into your account.
Click the small picture of your X avatar, then select your current name / View profile.
Enter your new desired name.
Click the Save changes button.
