London: Unhappy Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has not ruled out the possibility of staying in the Premier League, according to reports.
With rumours circulating that the Argentine would prefer a move abroad to Spain or back home, a source close to Tevez reportedly revealed that he would consider staying in England with a possible move to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea or Arsenal.
Roberto Mancini is set to have talks with the disgruntled striker after the Europa League match against Juventus this week but a different vibe is coming from an Argentine journalist.
"Carlos is unhappy with Manchester City and some of the relationships in the club. He is not unhappy with England, with the Premier League," she said.
"He says he is tired, he is mentally and physically tired, but the impression he gives is that he will not give up football - and his motivation is not money.
"Carlos will join another club and although Spain offers him another option - one where his family may be prepared to move nearer to him, he could stay in England."
Tevez's reported salary of 286,000 pounds a week — after tax — would no doubt prove to be a hard obstacle to overcome for any club interested in his signature.
However, reports suggest that he would be willing to take a massive pay cut to move to a club that would facilitate his needs.
Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea can all offer him Champions League football, plus Tevez himself admitted that he prefers life in London to Manchester.
Liverpool is also another option for him as he is a keen admirer of their history and international teammate Javier Mascherano reportedly gave him a glowing reference of the club.
