The University of Rajasthan is set to open the application window for undergraduate supplementary examinations 2024, specifically for final-year students, from today, Tuesday, October 1. Those interested in taking these exams can submit their application forms through the university’s official website, uniraj.ac.in.
According to the official notification issued on September 30, candidates have the opportunity to apply for the 2024 supplementary examination by paying the regular examination fee between October 1 and October 6, 2024. Candidates who miss this initial deadline can still submit their applications during the extended period from October 7 to October 8, 2024, but they will be required to pay an additional late fee of Rs 100 on top of the general fee.
The notification also specified that students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme are required to submit a hard copy of their supplementary examination application form, along with the full set of their mark sheets, to room number 115 in the administrative building. This requirement applies exclusively to BBA students, as the submission of physical copies of examination forms for other courses is not necessary and will not be accepted by the college or university. All other courses’ application processes will be handled through different channels, with no need for submitting hard copies.
As a result, the notification advised that these candidates should refrain from applying for supplementary examinations related to practical subjects. Furthermore, it announced that the supplementary examination for theoretical subjects is scheduled to commence on October 14, 2024, and will continue till October 25, 2024.
Exam Day Instructions:
— The examination duration for the elementary computer paper will be two hours, running from 11 AM to 1 PM.
— Candidates should note that no assurances are provided regarding the sequence of the question papers.
— The examination dates for compulsory subjects such as General English, General Hindi, Elementary Hindi, Elementary Commerce, and Environmental Studies will be the same for both B.A. and B.Sc. programmes.
— A separate supplementary timetable will be published for deaf and mute candidates enrolled in B.A., B.Sc., B.Com (Hons), B.B.A., B.Sc. Home Science, Bio-Tech, B.C.A., B.V.A., B.Mus., and B.A.
— Entry into the examination hall will be closed 20 minutes before the start of the examination.
The supplementary examination at Rajasthan University is an opportunity for students who have not passed certain subjects in their main exams to clear those subjects without having to retake the entire course.
