Rajasthan State Project Director Avichal Chaturvedi stated that the recruitment is being done for the posts of sports and yoga teachers, the reports detailed. The candidates will be given an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per month and the last date to apply for the jobs is September 30. A notification was released by the central government for the recruitment, which carried the instructions to hire sports and yoga teachers. As per more reports, the recruitment for the same posts is also being done at the Rajnandgaon district, in Chhattisgarh, where they are expected to appoint 7 teachers.

What are the qualifications required for the job?

If a candidate is interested in applying for the job of a sports teacher, then they must have a degree in physical education from a recognized institution. Or a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to physical education. The candidates are also required to have an experience of one year, at least.

For the post of yoga teacher, the interested candidate must have a degree or a diploma from a recognised institution. They should have experience at one year, at least. Furthermore, the ages of the candidate should lie between 21 years to 40 years.

The PM SHRI Schools or the Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India is a scheme started by the Government of India, which aims to establish more than 14,500 schools, across the country. Apart from the central government, the scheme is also overseen by state governments, local bodies, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).

PM SHRI Schools scheme aims to provide all the best educational facilities to more than 20 lakh students. It was proposed 5 years ago.
