Boy From Rajasthan’s Abu Road Tops JEE Mains, Secures Seat At IIT Delhi In First Attempt
Bhavishya Soni is the first student from the Sirohi district in Rajasthan to be selected for IIT Delhi this year.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Advanced results for session 1. Among many students, some cracked this exam this year while others will wait for another opportunity. As the results were announced, a house at Abu Road in Sirohi district in Rajasthan became the happiest in town. Student Bhavishya Soni cracked the JEE Mains in his first attempt and that too without any coaching.

This student, Bhavishya Soni, from Abu Road of Sirohi district, has been selected in IIT Delhi for the first counselling. He studied at St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School on Abu Road. Bhavishya had scored 95.60 per cent marks in the CBSE 12th board. Bhavishya’s father Mahendrakumar is a jeweler and his mother Pramila Soni is a housewife.

Bhavishya’s success is worth mentioning because he never took any coaching to clear the two stages of the JEE exam. He focused on self-study. He scored 99.7 per cent marks in JEE Mains and got 1730th rank in the All India OBC category. Bhavishya has been selected for IIT Delhi in the first attempt at JEE Advanced. He is the first student from the district to be selected in IIT Delhi this year.

To inspire other students on his, Bhavishya Soni and his parents were felicitated in the school. During this, Principal Vijesh Kumar Choubisa and School Director Sanwarmal Jat presented a cheque for the incentive amount to Bhavishya on behalf of the school.

Bhavishya Soni said that he never studied under the pressure of exam syllabus. He always studied as per his interests and needs. To score good marks in any exam, it is necessary to have an interest in studies, he added while talking to Loca18. Father Mahendrakumar Soni said that there was never a need to tell Bhavishya to study. Principal Vijesh Kumar Choubisa said that Bhavishya has been a brilliant student since nursery class. He scored more than 90 per cent marks in every class. He also topped Class 12 in his district.

NTA has announced JEE Mains results for session 2 on Thursday, July 4. Reportedly, 8.2 lakh students appeared for the exams. As per JEE Mains results 2024, as many as 56 students have scored 100 percentile.
