Larsen and Toubro provisionally fell 2.6 per cent, while Axis Bank ended 2.2 per cent lower.
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex fell slightly on Thursday, recording its sixth decline in seven sessions so far this year, as blue chips such as Larsen & Toubro fell on anxiety ahead of the quarterly earnings season and inflation data.
Larsen & Toubro provisionally fell 2.6 per cent, while Axis Bank ended 2.2 per cent lower.
The Sensex provisionally fell 0.02 per cent and the Nifty closed 0.1 per cent lower.
